This article was originally published by William L. Anderson at The Mises Institute. A recent Wall Street Journal article outlined yet another attempt by the U.S. Government to bring down Cuba’s socialist government, a process that has been going on without much success for the past 65 years. Once upon a time, the…

The Bond Arms BullPup9 is one of the most mechanically unusual, historically interesting, and unexpectedly refined pistols to hit the concealed-carry world in the last two decades. In a market saturated with polymer-frame micro-compacts that all follow the same basic formula, the BullPup9 is the firearm equivalent of a gifted nonconformist — it knows the rules, understands the rules, and confidently decides it can design a better set of rules. This handgun doesn’t just shrink typical 9mm architecture — it reimagines it from the inside out. Its origins lie not in a corporate design committee but in the mind of…
The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to extend benefits through 2028 to veteran caregivers who faced removal from a VA program that provides them health care and compensation. The VA announced Thursday that ‘legacy’ participants of the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers — those who had applied before and were accepted after Oct. 1, 2020 and those who were enrolled before that date — will remain in the program through Sept. 30, 2028. VA officials had said in May that it planned to extend the deadline; Thursday’s announcement cemented the plan. “Legacy caregivers have helped shape VA’s Caregiver…

UNLESS YOU CONSIDER the impenetrable 30 acres of head-high cattails in the old oxbow slough, the wildest part of this working alfalfa field is the stand of green ash and slag-bark cottonwood trees on its east side. I don’t go into this treeline much except to hunt for shed antlers or to push out the neighbor’s cows — or, every few years, to consider hanging a treestand. To call it woods is to exaggerate its size and density, but it’s always…
A Ukrainian plot to assassinate a senior Russian military officer has been foiled. According to the agency’s branch in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the plan included using beer contaminated with a powerful British-made chemical weapon. The Federal Security Service (FSB) said that the scheme was organized by Ukraine’s military intelligence service, the HUR, which allegedly identified the target through a fabricated online persona. It used a young woman calling herself “Polina,” and FSB investigators believe the photos and videos used to establish the relationship were produced with AI and circulated for months to build the assassination target’s trust. According to…
Retired Col. Robert L. Stirm, the man featured in the famous Pulitzer Prize-winning photo “Burst of Joy” died on Nov. 11 in Fairfield, California, his daughter, Lorrie Stirm Kitching confirmed to The New York Times. He was 92.The photo itself is iconic: A seemingly anonymous freed Vietnam War prisoner of war’s back is to the camera as his gleeful family runs pell-mell toward him. The image was printed and touted across America, earning photographer Slava “Sal” Veder the Pulitzer Prize in 1974. Veder’s photograph came to represent those American POWs who were, at long last, free. The actual story behind the…
NAVAL AIR WEAPONS STATION CHINA LAKE, California — The “Dust Devils” of the Navy’s Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX-31) brought the AV-8B Harrier’s decades-long testing era to an official close this fall with one final sortie flown by the squadron’s last remaining Harrier pilot, Technical Director James “Jimbo” Coppersmith. Warm desert winds drifted gently from the southwest as Coppersmith prepared for a moment steeped in aviation history. For the pilot, it also signified the conclusion of a distinguished 29-year career flying the jump jet.The Harrier’s Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine whined loudly, its unique high pitch filling the Mojave Desert air.…
The Defense Department continues to encounter cyber security vulnerabilities stemming from publicly accessible information shared across digital platforms, a recent report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office warns. The report, released on Nov. 17, highlights security lapses across 10 DOD components linked to digital activity from personal and government devices, online communications and defense platforms that “generate volumes of traceable data.” “Massive amounts of traceable data about military personnel and operations now exist due to the digital revolution,” according to the report, which highlighted ship and aircraft movements as examples of accessible information. “Public accessibility of this data enables malicious actors…

Southern Utah’s red rock country is about as wild West as it gets, and apparently its scientists are, too. A video posted Wednesday by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources shows one of its employees pulling off a bighorn sheep rescue, cowboy-style by lassoing animals trapped in a deep pothole formation at Lake Powell. The footage was filmed earlier this year, after two wildlife biologists responded to a GPS-collar that was throwing a mortality signal. When those collars fall off or…
United States ruler Donald Trump just signed a bill requiring the Justice Department to release the Epstein files to the public. Trump has previously claimed that the focus on the Epstein files is a “hoax” created by political opponents to distract from Republican successes. For months, Trump urged House Republicans to block the measure to release the Epstein files, arguing that Democrats were pushing the release of the douments to damage his presidency and reputation. “I HAVE JUST SIGNED THE BILL TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!” Trump wrote in a lengthy message on the Truth Social platform, according to a…

Two top gun-rights organizations are pushing a Missouri court to declare the National Firearms Act (NFA) null and void since the $200 tax on suppressors, short-barreled rifles (SBRs), short-barreled shotguns (SBSs) and NFA-designated “any other weapons” (AOWs) was rescinded in President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill. On November 14, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) filed a motion for summary judgment in the case Brown v. ATF in which plaintiffs are asking the court to strike down the remainder of the NFA and enjoin the government’s continued enforcement of the act’s unconstitutional requirements. The motion—filed…

This article was originally published by Lance D. Johnson at Natural News. What happens when the very institutions tasked with protecting public health become the greatest obstacle to the truth, conspiring in a cover-up of mass death? For two long years, the British people have waited for answers as their nation was gripped by a silent crisis of excess deaths. Now, in a stunning act of bureaucratic cowardice, the UK Health Security Agency has been granted permission from the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office to permanently conceal data that exposes the devastating link between COVID-19 vaccines and the thousands of extra…
