If you’re someone who values solid optics without hauling around extra bulk, or are looking for something you can throw in the ATV or pickup glove box, then you’ll be interested to hear that the Wyoming-based optics company Maven has expanded its direct-to-consumer lineup with two new monoculars. Here’s a detailed overview directly from their official announcement.

According to Maven’s press release, the M.1 and M.2 monoculars bring flagship-level performance in a sleek, compact format designed for portability. The M.1 (10×42) draws inspiration from Maven’s highly regarded B1.2 binocular, delivering crisp clarity and edge-to-edge sharpness in a form factor that fits easily in your pocket. The M.2 (12×50), based on the B.6 binocular, ups the magnification and low-light capabilities for longer-range spotting.

Co-founder Mike Lilygren commented, “With the success of the B1.2 and B.6 optical systems, we wanted to bring that same high-end performance to a more compact, one-handed format. The M.1 and M.2 monoculars are built for those who value portability but want the very best in optical quality.”

Both models feature premium ED glass, Schmidt-Pechan prisms, and IPX7 waterproof construction to withstand the rigors of the outdoors. The M.1 weighs a mere 14.7 ounces, and the M.2 comes in at 20 ounces, striking a balance between lightweight design and durable field use.

Priced at $450 for the M.1 10×42 and $500 for the M.2 12×50, these monoculars are now available exclusively through Maven’s direct-to-consumer website. Like all Maven optics, they come backed by an unconditional lifetime warranty.

For those who hunt, hike, or just love quality optics in a convenient size, Maven’s M Series monoculars provide a compelling choice to slim down the load without downgrading the view. Keep an eye on MavenBuilt.com to grab yours and experience the combination of durability, sharp optics, and packability.

That’s the latest from the optics world—stay tuned for more updates on gear worth carrying. If you’re interested, you can review a few of our own Maven product reviews right here on TTAG.
